Essential Questions

How are the rock, carbon, water cycles connected to the hydrosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere?

Hydrosphere-water; lakes, oceans, sea, bay. Rock cycle is about formation of rocks and breaking it down, how one rock can turn into another. Rock Cycle connected to Hydrosphere by weathering breaks rock, erosion, water moves sediments, then crystallization happens, then cooling and lava goes to ocean. Carbon Cycle is connected to Hydrosphere by Plants take water from underground and by process of photosynthesis which means releasing oxygen into the atmosphere.Water Cycle=Hydrosphere

Lithosphere- soil, ground. Rock cycle works with  Lithosphere by rocks can be found underground. Heat and pressure create a Metamorphic rock, than melting changes into Magma which happens in underground. Carbon Cycle works with Lithosphere by when consumer dies, it's remains goes to underground and becomes a fossil fuel, and  after millions of years forms as a coal, or oil.  Water Cycle works with Lithosphere  by groundwater, because water comes from underground.

Atmosphere-air, gas. Water Cycle is connected to Atmosphere by heat of the water as a water vapor goes up and forms a cloud by process of condensation. Rock cycle is connected to Atmosphere by the process of weathering, and weathering breaks rocks into sediments, and process erosion moves them; Also Rock cycle is connected by when  magma or lava erupt from volcano, they release CO2 into the Atmosphere. Carbon Cycle is connected to Atmosphere when a producer absorbs CO2, in order to release O2 into the air.

Biosphere- Living thing. Water Cycle is connected to Biosphere by plant uptake, because plants are living things. Carbon Cycle is connected to Biosphere by producer, which is a tree, consumer, decomposers. Rock Cycle works with Biosphere by when Magma/ Lava releases CO2 into Atmosphere, producer absorbs it and turns it to O2.

All Cycles are connected by Sunlight except Rock Cycle, other cycles like Carbon, Water will work if there's sunlight, because they absorb energy from the sun. Carbon and Rock cycles are connected by in Carbon when consumer dies, it becomes a fossil fuel which over the year turns into sedimentary rock. Water and Rock cycles are connected by weathering, by weathering breaks rocks into sediments, and its formed in both, in Water, and Rock cycle.
